Assembly

Assembly

Customers derive maximum benefits by ordering total manufacture of electro-mechanical assemblies or kits, which call on supply chain management, low cost sourcing, contract manufacturing as well as CNC machining and welding.

Total assembly, kitting, scheduled and JIT delivery ensure that any manufacturing opportunity can be safely placed in the hands of Oxford Engineering to find the ideal solution. The assembly area contains a clean assembly room: 1000 sq. ft. of positively pressurised separate assembly space fitted out with facilities for electro-mechanical assembly and a vacuum testing bay with four helium leak testing points. We offer a collaborative supply chain for proprietary parts, specialised offsite processes and engineering services has been developed.

OE can provide customers with dedicated, custom assembly bays to ensure tight project management and organisation across the shop floor. We tailor our assembly spaces for your project, illustrating our partnership business model and close relationships built with our customers.

Our facilities enable us to worth with small and large scale complex assemblies. Our comprehensive array of equipment enables precision, repeatability and traceability through each step of the manufacturing process. Quality manufacturing is found in the attention to the detail, and our customers trust us to get the details right, first time, every time.

General

Primarily fitting (nut and bolt work) but can contain Welding, Soldering and vacuum testing.

Line / Cell

Repeating components produced within dedicated, customer-specific manufacturing cells.

Our Siemens Cell is centred around welding components together with vacuum & pressure testing. The Cell also incorporates soldering, fitting, electrical testing, all documentation and kitting.

Clean-Room

Generally electro-mechanical assemblies that operate in ultra high vacuum conditions.

It has been a pleasure working with everyone at Oxford Engineering over the last two years and thanks to everyone for all of your hard work and dedication to achieve both the Tranche 1 and Tranche 2 deadlines.
